Jailbreaking iPhones, check out Redsn0w:
TIP: if you want to jailbreak a new iPhone DO NOT update to 6.1. Security restrictions are significantly higher and you will have to use the restore file from 6.0 anyways. I did this and am still facing many bugs but this jailbreak (for 6.1) is currently being worked on.

Hard Drive Stuff:
There are some really good tools out there for doing basic PC repairs and they are all FREE! I highly recommend checking out Hiren’s Boot CD (just Google it) (suite of many tools for testing, virus removal, registry fixes, etc…), MalwareBytes, and CCleaner. I use all of these tools regularly at home and while doing work.
