Finally…Some mobile security

So here is an up and coming project I’m really looking forward to. Hopefully, the developers will be able to achieve their goals in this project and a work around doesn’t come out a few days after its release.

The company Silent Circle is creating an app suite designed to make secure phone calls, texts and file transfers. I believe a beta app will be released for iOS (this Friday, the 8th of February) but nothing yet for Android (though according to the article it is in the works).

The main intention of this app is to make it next to impossible to eavesdrop on someone’s mobile device. Especially since the government now wants all mobile devices to come stock with a listening device and backdoors for government agents to take advantage of.

If all is successful I will add this to my Android toolkit (including TOR (private browsing), DroidSheep Guard, DroidSheep, and WifiInspect).
