Found another one on DC404…Apparently it’s really easy to bypass iOS 6.1 lockscreen security. There is a 2 minute video showing the steps (link at bottom of the article). In the  end it doesn’t allow you to do much but make free calls from the victims phone number. Still it’s pretty cool though.

UPDATE (3/26/13):

This issue is still prevalent in 6.1.3, it just takes a different key sequence. Also, the same issue was found in the Galaxy S3’s lockscreen. You can bypass the SGS3’s lockscreen by doing a combination of pressing the back button and using the emergency call button.
